A veteran writer and producer, Abby got her start in the rough-and-tumble NY music scene of the '80s. But her sensibilities were formed much earlier by the greats of pop, rock, jazz and soul who surrounded her as a child. She considers herself a musical chef, combining styles and textures to create songs, as one fan put it, "like everything you've heard and nothing you've heard, rolled into one."
